Ericsson T39m Codes

Overview

Following a list of known but officially not publically documented codes is shown which give the user the chance to get information or change certain parameters of the Ericsson T39m.

IMEI (Serial number) - The shown number consists of 15 digits which equal to the one printed on the back of the phone. It is composed this way: 123456 78 90ABCD E

12 = Manufactorer

 

  • 44 = Motorola
  • 49 = Nokia
  • 52 = Ericsson

 

3456 = Phone type

 

  • 0392 = T39m

 

78 = Assembling country

 

  • 07, 08, 20 = Germany
  • 10, 70, 71 = Finland
  • 19, 40 = Great Britain
  • 67 = USA
  • 30 = Korea
  • 45, 80 = China

 

90ABCD = Serial number
E = Reserved

Reset language to Englisch

L8888R

Reset language to preset language of mobile network provider

Headset version

Rename the Bluetooth headset by changing Extras > Accessories > HBH > Settings > Name to "ADGJM" which creates a new menu Extras > Accessories > HBH > Version giving the opportunity to check the firmware version.

Remark

'L' and 'R' mean the left and right menu buttons.
